Heavy Metal is a strange phenomina. As you can see above, it completely smashes the impulse of water to form crystals and instead when the water starts to freeze and tries to form crystals, it ends up looking more like a whoofer speaker blasting into a dirty puddle on the road.
Despite how water reacts to heavy metal, this style of music forms an intense comradery between youth of all ages. The feeling of epitomising a rebellion definitely has an effect on Mum and Dad who are always great to protest against. A fashion statement that says "What do you think you are looking at?" is the type of response that is invited.
Don't get me wrong, I took my daughter to her first heavy metal concert when Good Charlette played the Hordon Pavillion in Sydney. As Joely headed for the mosh pit and myself right behind her, she looked at me and said "not too close!" Definitely not cool to have Dad close by when in the Mosh Bit.
I had an absolute ball. I was surprised that I knew heaps of the songs and also felt great that I was staying close by to protect my daughter. She turned to me and said "Dad, get me out of here." I lifter her up and she was just floated to the front and taken to safety. Pretty smooth security system.
But hey! Heavy Metal Music just leaves you pumped. So my advice to parents is that if your son of daughter is dressing heavy metal and looking at you with a serious attitude, Just book tickets to the next big Metallica of Cancer Bats concert. Go in hard and take on the mosh pit. Your kids will love you for it.
Ok! So Heavy Metal doesn't do too much for water. In fact, with the effect shown above, it is no wonder that teenagers have attitude.
