The label of healing music really is a hard one to place on any sound. I can remember when my father would listen to the Dutch Swing College during our childhood years which would drive my brother, sister and myself absolutely crazy. We could not imagine how he could listen to this music. But the result was always a very cheerful father either from the painful expressions on our faces that would make him laugh or the healing wavelength to him. Music always has a varied emotional effect on us all from heavy rap, rock n roll, country music, jazz, hip hop, folk or the hundreds of different variations of classical music and of course those love songs that make our hearts sink so low or to others touch as they re-experiece love right there within themselves. Yes, we all have different wave lengths and toleranced for sound, but the main point is that our favourite music is our favourite music. It comes from the artist and expressed it finds its niches of appreciation thoughout the world. I can recall arriving home one day and while waiting for a friend to pick me to go surfing I placed Led Zeppelin III on the record player. A song came on called "That's The Way It Ought To Be." and although I had heard this record many times over, it was as though I was hearing the life and rythme of the acoustic guitar playing by Jimmy Page for the first time ever. I arrived at the beach and just carved the waves to peaces. The harmony and vibration of this song stays with me to this day. And yes, record players were not that long ago. So I really can understand the effect that music has on us all, but after seeing the effect that "Healing Music" has on water and the incredible water crystals that form from it, I can really understand how soft music that is full of life has the ability to bring about a harmony within ourselves and hence bring about healing. Choose your favourite music and be true to yourself in what is true for you. You love the songs you love just because you love them. Play them often and enjoy them and do not let another alloy your afinity for the music you love.
