The incredible musical talent of Fryderyk Chopi was apparent at a very early age and as a child hood genius, has been compared to the brilliance of Mozart.
This prodogy was written about in the Warsaw newspapers and he became known as "Little Chopin". He became a special guest artist in the aristocratic salons of the Warsaw capital as well as performing charity concerts.
Chopin's teacher Wojciech assisted Chopin in developing his pianon brilliance from 1816 to 1822 until he as a teacher was no longer able to help his student as Chopi had far surpassed his skill. Chopin then was aided in his growth by the renowned pianist and professor from the Warsaw conservatorium.
Chopin attended the Warsaw Lyceum (Lyceum: a school for students intermediate between elementary school and college; usually grades 9 to 12.) between 1823 and 1826. he was known to have spent summer holidays staying with friends families on wonderful country estates. During this time he became interested in folk music and quickly became proficient at playing a folf instrument resembly that of a double bass and enjoyed playing to the peasants of these regions.
Becoming acquanted himself with the folk music of the Polish plains in its authentic form, with its distinct tonality, richness of rhythms and dance vigour. When composing his first mazurkas (n. 1.A Polish dance resembling the polka, frequently adopted as a ballet form. 2. A piece of music for such a dance, written in 3/4 or 3/8 time with the second beat heavily accented.) in 1825, as well as the later ones, he resorted to this source of inspiration which he kept in mind until the very end of his life.
Chopin continued to develop into a renowned composer and performer and later found himself located in Paris. At this time there was an uprising and Russia had taken Warsaw. Chopin showed protest and distress about this and expressed it in his works. With writings found later in his diary as quoted "The enemy is in the house (...) Oh God, do You exist? You do and yet You do not avenge. - Have You not had enough of Moscow's crimes - or - or are You Yourself a Muscovite [...] I here, useless! And I here empty-handed. At times I can only groan, suffer, and pour out my despair at my piano!".
Chopin failed or refused to renew his passport and citizenship in polant due to his refusal to accept the Russian rule. He continued his life travelling and working in the musical areas of his choice and areas of friendship. A man of integrity he followed the journey of his talents till the day he died.
Today Chopin is mostly known for his works on various Waltz compositions of which many loved ones share and are able to express their true love openly and publicly with this timeless dance.
The music is distinctly known by all classical music lovers and true appreciation is espressed with spine tingling sensation and welling of tears. It is no wonder that water is able to form such incredible water crystals in the present of such music.
