pH Of Drinking Water!

The ph of drinking water has a drastic effect on our health. Not only in the hydration of our bodies, but in the assimilation of food nutrients through our digestive system.

Our Drinking Water

As water is such a great carrier of all types of substances, the ph range of water can vary from being highly acidic to highly alkaline. The ph of drinking water can vary drastically because of its amazing soluble quality. Also, the pH level of drinking water does and also does not indicate the healthy quality of the water as for drinking purposes.

This all has to do with nature and all that organic stuff of course.

The healthiest water it has been found is water that is at a level of about 9 on the pH Scale and is also very full of all the necessary minerals and trace elements that our body needs. Calcium, Magnesium, and other trace minerals like Chromium, Sodium, Potassium and even Silver in the correct minute quantities are vitally important to the healthy functioning of our bodies.

These minerals are also what are known as electrolytes. It is these electrolytes that allow the electrical current that drives the body to easily flow through your system. Think of it this way. Electricity will travel through water. When the water has these electrolytes diluted it, the electricity much more easily will flow through the water.

The same goes for your body. When your blood is hydrated with lovely mineralized water, the electrical currents that drive the body's functioning parts can flow very easily and your body functions much more easily. You know the feeling that you have when you are dehydrated and the body is such an effort to push into action. Well this is how it feels when the electrical flows from you telling the body to do what it is supposed to do are slowed down and struggling because the current really has to push through the blood that is short of electrolytes.

I know that this is a lot to take in, but now that you can see the importance of electrolytes, we can now come back to the ph of water. What does the ph of water have to do with all this. Well! When the ph is at the optimum level, about 9, the body is much more easily able to absorb the water along with the electrolytes that are part of the water solution. Good high alkaline water with a great balanced mineral content will absorb rapidly into the body's blood stream and keep you moving long beautifully.

We will move more and more into this with following articles. I hope that you now have the knowledge to choose a little more wisely with what you are drinking along with your daily diet.

Warmly, Mike King.

PS. Soft Drinks are very high in acidity and have an adverse effect on your body in relation to the above information.
