New York Water.
New York water is one of the great stories of America and has been the key to what has become America's largest
and most prosperous city. With a continual battle of overcoming the populations demand through periods of continual
and booming growth, this incredible water network has always risen and is to this day coping with the drinking
and bathing needs of the grand city population.

I will take you breifly though this journey of water that has developed and ensured the growth of this wonderful
city, but as a resident you must be aware of the dangers in drinking water straight from the tap no matter what city
you reside. Despite boasting New york water being one of the highest quality and best taisting water in the world
by US Environmental Protection Agency, drinking it's water straight from the tap is no exception.
Before we begin this journey of our new york water, I must remind you of the basic responsibility to purify you
water and to ensure that it is restructured to become hydrated with all the essential minerals and trace elements.
This means electrolyte and the correct level of alkalinity all as part of this final step. Your families physical
and mental health depend on this. For more on information, follow this link to

With the New York City 2007 Drinking Water Supply and Quality Report boasting clean, healthy, refreshing water with
zero sugar and fat free, we still have a system that is using chlorine to disinfect the water from bacteria and
other micro-organisms. But with this brings about a production of what are called trihalomethanes, or THM’s, formed
when chlorine reacts with organic matter in the water. There is evidence of a link between THM’s and rectal and
bladder cancer and birth defects. Also, the city has had more fecal-waste violations than any other US city.
As we are no longer seeing cases of typhoid fever, yellow fever, or cholera, we now have further complicated
diseases such as cancer and such rising in levels that our medicos are unable to keep up with. So please do not
play Russian Roulette with your tap water. A high quality filter and production of
The ultimate Drinking Water is the key. And that applies to any
American Water you may be drinking.
Each day, more than 1.1 billion gallons of fresh, clean water is delivered from large upstate
reservoirs – some more than 125 miles from the city – to the taps of 9 million customers
throughout New York State.
The system responsible for this feat is an engineering marvel. It consists of 19 reservoirs and
more than 6,000 miles of pipes, aqueducts and tunnels. The Delaware Aqueduct, at 85-miles
long, is the longest continuous tunnel in the world, and runs at depths of more than 1,500 feet
in some places. Even more impressive, the system is almost entirely gravity driven, delivering
high-quality water to you without emitting climate-changing greenhouse gases.
The other resevoirs include the Croton and the Catskill systems. This incredible network hydrating an every booming
major city of the world is manned with a dedicated team with the responsibility of ensuring health and hydration
for the population of all these new york water areas. Refining and refining is the key to optaining a final
goal of pure water flowing from each and every tap of the region. Until that day, take responsibility for your
own
new york water.
Warmly, Mike King
