your body metabolism is an incredible phenomina. It just continues to burn energy at an enormous rate. We
shovel the food in, good and bad, and our metabolism just burns it up. Even the unhealthy and obese body of
modern man does an amazing job of burning up the mass excess of fuel that we pump into our bodies day in and
day out.

Hey, but don't become a statistic. The future race of man is not that of an obese race. If we just sit back and
let it happen, then it will happen and the genetic agreement of our race will begin to produce fat babies that
become obese teenagers and adults.
"So I am just fat. What can I do about it?"
Well, your body metabolism is actually like a life force in itself that produces and converts the energy within
foods and turns it into dynamic energy that we are able to us. We use this energy at different degrees all with
different lifestyles and paces. But, we can do something about it as the foods that we are eating are getting
on top of our health and instead of feeling energetic and alive, we feel more like processing plants for the
gross amounts of food that we stuff down our throats.
So, it really is time to start to care for your body metabolism. you don't have to do so in one big hit, but you
do have to actively do something about it. Unless you live on a farm with a great balanced diet of mixed organic
food and have plenty of exercise just in your day to day activities, then you will have to do a little more than
catch the train to work and sit at your desk all day working on your computer terminal. Taking a walk to the
cafeteria is not taking daily excersice.

Encarta Dictionary defines body metabolism as: life-sustaining chemical activity: the series of processes by which
food is converted into the energy and products needed to sustain life.
In other words, when your body is working as it should do, and you are eating plenty of good food, then 1. your
internal digestive system is easily able to absorb the natural energies in healthy food and 2. your internal
glandular and hormone system is able to burn up this energy and convert it into motion and power with great ease.

A light gradient into a better diet and an excercise program is needed. But don't hit it so hard that you nearly

you less and will boost your metabolism to a good active level at the very start of the day.

receive from the majority of our foods. Protein is the building block of our body, so this is what will give you
strenght and continual energy to get through the day. But of course don't mistake protein for a big fat grizzly
stake with fat slugs all over it. Light levels of much purer forms of protein are availabe in many other forms
of foods.
Water is also a main underlying necessity to good health and will assist greatly your body metabolism. Not tap water,

Find an excercise that you enjoy and do it at a gradient that suites you. You aren't training to be a world
champion, although a little personal fantasy never hurt anyone, but just keep the pressure on your body so that
you are pushing it just a little more than it is comfortable with. Your body was designed to be worked. Working
bodies feel better and live longer.
Also, only through maintaining good health are we able to protect this vital organ and maintain the ability to have a
